Dogecoin Jumped after Elon Musk says it accepted for Merchandise Payment

Elon Musk Revealed that Tesla is now accepting Dogecoin for merchandise payments.

The meme coin, a Shiba Inu dog meme coin has jumped in value after Tesla and SpaceX CEO, Elon Musk revealed that the  electric car company started to accept Dogecoin for merchandise payment.

The announcement by Tesla CEO has sparked in trading of Dogecoin as the coin currently trading at $0.1934 as seen in CoinMarketCap today. Elon Musk posted a tweet confirming the news.

Elon Musk has previously revealed that he holds some Dogecoin. He has over the years, frequently posted about the Dogecoin in his twitter. Tweets from Musk has send the coin to a record high.

At the time of writing, Dogecoin valued over $25 billions. It is number 11 of most valuable crypto according to CoinMarketCap. I’ts closest rival Shiba Inu valued at $17 billion and is number 13 most valued crypto.
